If I may meddle, the second photo is a hybrid aloe. As I understand, a common indicator of a hybrid succulent is to multiply rapidly and these will. I've had one for years and had trouble IDing it. Narrowed it down to perhaps either Walmseys' bronze or Webleys' bronze. http://gosucculent.com/store2/...

It gets the bronze in its' name due to the coloring it takes on when in full sun. In bright light (not direct sun) it takes on a rich, lush green.

Pretty plant that suckers freely and allows a plant nut to share with others. Definitely one to get you hooked on succulents!
