I rely on photos too Pirl. I seldom sit and enter information in my own garden notes.
I also referr to month by month garden photos to be sure I am not buying a plant where there really isnt any space for one.July is my best time to check for spaces.Thats when websites are having tempting sales and the new lily bulb orders go out.
Of course lilies can be wedged in anywhere.
