No Polly planted the seed heads from 8 different flowerheads from dark semos placed next to each other so they would intercross and they were all open pollinated. She planted the whole mix and there were several thousand seedlings of which 'Dark Cloud' and 'Plumb Rose' were selected. I don't know who put that information on it, but that's wrong. S. atroviolaceum 'Heimlich' was ONE of the 8 possible parents.
