We love all nesting birds and try to attract Blue Birds each spring. Our best locations seem to be on isolated fence posts away from buildings, people and cats/dogs. They are more difficult to photograph but it can be done with a zoom lens. Here are a few of ours. No matter where we locate the nest boxes they make the final choice. Smiling
Both parents checking it out. The car & truck in the background are at least a half mile away. In the 3rd picture she seems to be saying, "Don't rush me!" 4th picture is of the male checking out a viburnum just behind our back window.
