TBGDN said:Thanks Rita & Ann- I rescued her from the unwanted animal shelter almost 13 years ago. She ran to me as soon as I saw her, and it has been non-stop relationship & affection since. My daughter got her that teddy bear for a Christmas gift several years ago, and she carried it all over the place. She even placed it in (or near) her bed at night. I need to get over being so sentimental, but I just cannot break the bonds. And to think I'm a senior now! Smiling

I think I know exactly what she's like. My mom & dad had one whose body & coat type was the spitting image of her. Theirs came from a litter my sister had & was terrier (I forget what kind -- rat or fox) & catahoula cur mix. His coloring was different than your girl but all else was the same & those big ears! What a smart fella! He had "babies" he carried around too. He kept running away from my sister's Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing every time mom & dad went to her house, Crook (his name) would get in the car when my folks went to leave. They would actually take him home & keep him for a few days till next time they went to my sisters again. He really loved my parents more so one day they just decided to keep him. THEN, his brother, Sport, decided HE wanted to live with mom & dad. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing He would sneak in when the car door was open & hide till they got home & discovered Sport was in the car. This went on for several years. They finally figured he wanted to live with them bad enough so they kept him too! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
