Overwinter plants? Get cuttings to root instead of rot? I've READ about such things, but never tried them myself. Well, not successfully.
I start from seed. The space limitation is not how many TRAYS I have room for, it's how many 4" pots I can keep under lights.
I keep intending to make a low hoop tunnel or lean-to cold frame to hold young plants after potting up from seedling trays, but there are enough gardening chores on my "need to" list that I never get to my "intend to" list.
