I found out belatedly that agave are not hardy...boohoo. My five year old baby bit the dust as I left it out overnight one freezing night. Sigh...yet another gift from DH that has died in the transition period. It was a teeny tiny thing in one of those cacti pots for 2.99 at HD that I had grown through four up-potting events!

Still nothing blooming here, except a recently purchased rosemary; my overwintered sage tried to bloom but I pinched it back. Lots of foliage in the beds though. I don't know if my Daphne will bloom this year; it took quite a beating during the death and then the move. But it's still green :)

Hope your uncle is progressing well Phyl.

Susan - those greenhouse photos were lovely.
