Cherie: I don't grow this plant, I detest thorns and this Euphorbia really does have nasty thorns! I try to stay away from all thorny type plants. The Euphorbia milii is pretty to look at and although I know many people love them, I wouldn't want one in my garden. I took that photo when we were on vacation in southern California last summer.
