Plus, my mother's favorite color has always been orange. I was traumatized by an orange shag carpet (oh the horror!!) growing up so I tended to avoid orange for years.
Funny though, I love orange now.
I had
no idea there were so very many gorgeous orange daylilies! I put in a couple of new garden areas this fall and about 40 new DL --many orange and purple-- too bad I didn't know about ATP and this forum then, so that I could ask "where can I get some of these?"
I did get a Tuscawilla Tigress though...
