Out in the OC, there has not been too much going on. December is a slow month but there are a few and this is what I found.
First up is Aliceara Sunday Best X Rst. bictoniense. OrchidWiz does not show this as being a registered cross but I like it anyway.
Then a troop of Dancing Ladies came through:
Yet another flower on my Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos'. It out did itself this time as this is the largest Psychopsis flower I have seen.
The Blc. Chia Lin 'New City' X Pot. Susan Fender 'Cinnamon Stick', AM/AOS (aka. Pot. Linda Mathisen) has put out another spike with two blooms which are large and fragrant.
While poking around the OC, I discovered I have two Epc. Rene Marques 'Tyler' orchids. I showed the first one the other day and here is the second just opening.
And Bepi. Sylvia White is blooming.
What better way to finish up the year that taking a final look at Cattleya maxima. This orchid is just stunning.
