One way I dealt with missing labels was to write the name on a piece of plastic flagging and tucking that under the root ball when I planted them. Saved my bacon many times.
About 10% of my daylilies are sending up scapes! I'm looking forward to seeing them cause it's been two years since I last saw them bloom.
