the rain keeps me out of the yard....but its not that bad here. my kitchen window view garden is soooo pretty now. even thru the dirty window, haha.

the garden is a swamp in places. and since I had to replant 4 rows of beans, ive not been able to hoe or stick them! theyre almost wild at this point. the good thing is that we planted the bush beans at the edge of the garden so I was able to pick a couple quarts....but they are full of beans. ive had cucs, yellow crook neck and pitty pan squash for a few days...mmmmmm SO good.

but..my fun for the week has been stepping on a nest of something and getting stung 8 or 9 times. ..... a new washer. no one told me to turn the water off at the wall, so when I wanted to clean under the old one before the new one arrived, i showered me and the floor.
and then, if that wasnt enough, the AC went out so the next day they replaced a valve that made the freon leak. more freon. it was miserable.

our next family reunion is next saturday and I'm so looking forward to it. starts Friday night with an all night pig roast, Saturday they deep fry turkeys, and its just family and friends all day with a big fireworks thingy that night. everyone moves the lawn chairs to the yard. cross your fingers for good weather. and as always, i don't know what to take, lol. i was thinking of using a couple of boxes of cake mix to make cupcakes with diff frostings.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.
