Good one Jo Anne!!! That's just what I do so you get rid of the old leaves and you can see the flowers. How ever one word of caution!!! You need to know what kind of hellebore you have. http://search.aol.com/aol/imag...
If you look at some of these pictures the blooms are on he stems don't cut these. Look for the blooms if they are coming up at the crown (emerging from the ground ) ok to cut like the video says.
