So I appreciate your collective patience w this novice! These are mostly big plants & I feel guilty enough attempting to grow roses in containers! I'm gonna dig up the bigger ones & replant 'em in Los Angeles where we left "the kids" in our house - great big sunny hillside for them to spread.

Daylilies OK in Zone 9a/10?

I also bought a Stella de Oro as now that you've got me noticing, they're everywhere here! In every parking lot of every store: birds of paradise (or is it bird of paradises?) & Stellas! I bent down to smell flowers I'd never even noticed before - sure enough, a lovely little fragrance!

Only the little ones are gonna stay - buy now you've all introduced daylilies into two southern California gardens!
