Photo Contest Winner: 2014 Avid Green Pages Reviewer Garden Ideas: Master Level Garden Sages I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! I helped plan and beta test the plant database.
Once I had some bolting, I either saved it for seeds or cut some for a special-occasion bouquet. But she wasn't impressed by "Chinese cabbage blossoms".

That was before I learned about online seed-trading and gave it all away within my manufactured-home park. I never saw any sign that anyone did anything with any of that seed.

Now I know to sow it thickly for baby leaves, or isolate and save seeds for giving away online (to people who will use them!) but have not had any bolt lately.
