For whatever it's worth -- I love the white haft marks on your black Iris -- to me, they *make* the Iris. Very distinctive. And I love the beard color. This is an Iris that I would buy right now -- and a win-win if you continue to work with it toward your black plicata. It will be fun to watch as you progress toward your goal.
