I second Mary Ann, Marvin. I have not been on this site for very long but the folks here are a kind and knowledgeable group of people who are willing to share their expertise and put up with my blunders. lol I am really happy to talk iris and this is the place to do that. I am particularly paying attention to this thread as I have been trying to buy a 'black' iris for years. I know all black irises are just very dark colors but all that I have bought have yet to show really dark colors. I have given most of them away in frustration. I stand in the yard and give them a good talking to and then pot them up 'to go' if that's the best that they can do. I kept Men In Black for its mustard/brown beard. Ah well, just have to buy more, wont I? smiles
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
