So what I'm hearing is you need help emptying some more wine bottles, right? Whistling

The ajuga will spread, but personally, I don't ever find it a problem spreading too far, too fast. It's very shallow rooted, and I find it easy to pull/transplant to manage where it's growing. Other people find it gets out of bounds too quickly for them.
