Ann, your second picture of Ode to Lenore is just as pretty as the first! I would love to have this daylily in a painting.
I had already looked it up on AHS and was wondering about the picture there. It didn't look nearly as good as yours. I'm glad to know yours looks more true to what it actually is.
For some reason it reminds me of a little girl in a pinafore. It just has that soft, feminine look to it. And I love the way the stamens look color coordinated with the soft pink petals.
