The gound is still frozen here too. THe top 1/8 inch thaws and makes mud sometimes but that is all so far. But it didn't freeze really hard until around Christmas.
I saw a couple robins yesterday so real spring should only be a few weeks away. They over winter about 60 miles south of here. The lone Blue Heron that I am aware of flew thru the other day too. Another good sign of spring. Kyel and I saw a flock of what must have been 400 or more geese flying in circles toward the north yesterday morning. They too winter not far from here.
