Well woofie, it just so happens some things have happened in my life which have made me have to use a recipe at least until I get around to tweaking everything. Hilarious!
Woofie, I now have celiac disease which means that I CAN NOT have gluten (wheat, barley, rye) or anything cross contaminated with gluten. SO, now I use Bob's Red Mill gluten free cornbread mix. Follow the recipe on the back of the bag. Only you will have to add more milk than it says b/c it's very, very thick & especially for making in the frying pan. But you'll know when the consistency is right. I guarantee you it doesn't taste "weird". It's really quite good. A lot of gluten free things can taste strange but THIS does not! Enjoy m'dear! Green Grin!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
