I had one with a "turkey neck" and I was so afraid I was going to kill it by doing this, but it worked! Now I'm careful to turn the plant every once in awhile so each part gets the same amount of light. I read an article in which the author used rooting powder on the stem before replanting, so I did that. Evidently it works without that!
