It would be neat to use something like old CDs - any kind of disc - for the center; spray it golden yellow than graduate the shades of spoons from the golden yellow to orange. Maybe a couple or 3 rows of spoons.

OR ... turn the bowls of the spoons to the inside and form the middle with them, it would look like petals of a flower. Then work outward from there with the handles pointing away from the center. Now there's another idea for the wooden spoons, they could form their own flower-y center.

Going to see what it looks like with silver spoons.
