You're welcome, Karen! Do you know yet whether either of those toothier is an Evergreen, or a SEV? It seems like almost all the toothies that I like are Dormants and don't do so well here over time, which is one reason I've been so excited about SPINEFELD -- that and the fact that I saw tons of teeth on the very first blooms in April! With the Dormants I have to wait until it really warms up to see a good show of teeth.
James, I bought 5 or 6 seeds of BLUE MARTINI X SPINEFELD on the Lily Auction back in October and have some really small seedlings -- so I probably won't see blooms until 2015, unfortunately. But I think it's an exciting cross, and I hope you'll share pictures in our seedlings threads. I really can't wait until spring now. We've been having beautiful weather here, along with absolutely no rainfall or snowpack buildup in the mountains, so I may have to practically starve my plants for water come summer unless the heavens really let loose very very soon! And now I have a nasty case of spring fever because of our fabulous weather...
