I believe it was March 2012 when the weather just got better and better and there were 80 degree highs for 10 days. Asiatic lilies sprouted and grew to 10 inches or more. Then frosts. I covered what I could but there were very few blooms that year. Orientals had not broken ground so they did O K .
Some perennials were toast for that season but returned the following year.
