Hey Rick, you asked about compost I believe and compost tea. I have done both on my outside gardens. I have had good luck with doing both but that was a few years ago. I may be able to garden outside this year again, time will tell.
I cleaned my aquarium today and watered my houseplants with it. I used to do that a lot and found it successful. Life happened and I quit taking care of my plants for awhile. Now I am loving my indoor gardens. Tomorrow I will water the African Violets with aquarium water too. I tend to over feed which makes for fat fish and in a way "compost tea" with some of the food not getting into the fish mouths.
Time will tell as I have not done this in a few years and definitely not with African Violets. I can't wait to find out.
