This conversation was started on another forum,on the ice plant thread.I started it there because i read that delosperma is a favorite food of these ugly,slimy little creature's.I didn't know there was already this thread dedicated to the little nasty things!!

Okay so snails are never homeless like slugs? their eye's are on the tips of their horns,which they can retracted 1 at a time, it was so nasty watching this.
I need to do some research on how they get their homes!! Confused do they make them,snail shells look alike or are they squatters living in any abandoned home???

What's the difference in snails & slugs except for fishing purposes i have no idea.I see a lot of research in my immediate future, where do they feed above or below ground?That's the difference in eating foliage or roots.
