Nothing wimpy about not wanting to drive on possibly very icy roads without the proper equipment and not having enough experience with such driving. I wouldn't even be able to even drive down my driveway if there were much ice on it. Too steep, downhill. I could end up skidding to the other side of the road and hitting trees and bushes on the other side. When we had a really bad ice storm years ago, those who didn't get out early on had to stay for quite a few days. Quite a few people tried to get out and didn't make it. Not me! We bunkered down until the thaw came.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
Integrity can never be taken. It can only be given, and I wasn't going to give it up to these people. Gary Mowad
