Zinnias just plain rock! Obviously the previous owner of our new house had zinnias at some time of other & they volunteered so this summer I had quite a few zinnias growing here & there & over there.

It was wonderful as we had been too busy trying to get settled to do much of anything about planting flowers. The zinnias take this gosh awful heat down here along with the relentless 12 hour sun, no rain & no supplemental watering like it was a walk in the park!

I picked up a couple packs of zinnia seeds as well as harvesting from the volunteers here & very soon now I will be playing Annie Zinniaseed.
