Green tomato Jam! Marinating and soon to be canned. Had to snatch them off the bush before a predicted freeze here, and the bushes never froze!
Anyways, I made tons of green tomato sauce and had Pizza's and Pasta with some first. It tasted no different on the whole then red sauce to me once cooked down, and this Jam tastes somehow like Mincemeat pie if you can imagine it? Delicious and surprising indeed!
