My Rooguchi has perked right along all summer, despite all the heat and humidity, and even escaped (so far) the mildew it came down with last year when I first planted it. It's about 4' tall on the trellis and still blooming like mad. I have tried to keep it watered and am continually placing it back up on the trellis so it climbs through the red rose it's planted next to. I'm going to plant a C. Guernsey Cream on the other side so that I have red, white and blue on that trellis to celebrate my patriotic streak!

Sorry yours didn't make it. If I knew how to take a proper cutting for you, I'd send you one for rooting, but I've tried and failed. If you have a tip, I'd be glad to hear it!
