Probably too late to be a real hit outside Zone 8. In warm summers it may start in late August, but no guarantee until mid-September. I believe it is a short day plant. Ours in the ground got hammered by the Arctic air this last December. Showing growth at the base, but our late bloom was lost.

Having said that, the color of this plant's flowers is totally unique.
