I read recently that eggplant is a staple food in India, Bangladesh and the Philippines.

Cornell is working with researchers in those countries to make a more insect-resistant eggplant (I assume it would be a GE / GMO eggplant).

Just because it ISN'T complicated doesn't mean I can't MAKE it complicated!
