I'm hoping I will have some lovely images this season for the back corner and gardens at this home (I call it the Cali Gardens since they were inspired by Zuzu and Calif_Sue). They are the newest of the gardens here and almost all of my clematis were planted as 4-inch plants. I had some great growth and blooms on both the clems and roses there, but I guess not enough to inspire me to get out the camera too often last summer. I'm planning to post the step-by-step construction in a new thread for garden construction.

Here's one of the few photos I can find from that back corner, taken last spring. The clematis and jasmine on the back lattice are all fairly new babies in this photo. When we bought the house, this area had no garden, but only three overgrown evergreen bushes that spilled over and made it difficult to walk by the pool on that side.
