I have actually went out and watered my shrubs and the new trees I put in last fall because the winds and low humidity has caused the air to be so dry. The ground here is dry as dust and there are burn bans in most counties. (like who would be out here burning anyway?!) I think lots of people think that plants don't need watered in the winter, but that is not true. Just a reminder to check.
