Although it wasn't as cold in my garden as Rita's, I was out watering the roses again wearing multiple layers of clothing ... dang ! it felt cold. However, I can see the benefit of the watering in the plants this morning.
I got all of the roses and trees watered in front of the house, and managed to get one of the street beds weeded and ready for more mulch while working out in front. I also got the one of the side yards watered on the house pad level and removed the suckers from the dogwood tree while that was going on.
Since the days are a bit longer, I can get more done, but I do wait until the temps are above freezing before I go out to work ....
