I know it's Feb. but I don't have a photo to load for a new Feb. thread at the moment.
Just posting some info.
For the past 4 hours I've heard the unmistakable calls of the Sandhill cranes in the sky overhead. They keep flying over us coming from the south in large multiple groupings. Their heading is NNW. I was just out watching one group heading NW & saw them reorganize & correct their heading to NNW.
Nature knows better than we do so I would say that's a sure sign spring is on it's way.
