Due to the over abundance of cold & snow and a not so warm unheated sun room, my veggie seedlings of tomatoes, 3 types of peppers, eggplant, four types of basil, cilantro, sprouts, and peas are now living throughout the house (mostly in the bathrooms) under lights, and the occasion fan running. So far so good, tomatoes are getting second leaves and the basil in another week should be ready to graduate out of the k cups and into bigger pots. I also have lettuce, parsley, and swiss chard started in the basement along side all my coleus cuttings I was able to winter over. I'm starting to think that the tomatoes, eggplant and peppers will have to be planted in my 5 gallon pails and stay in containers for the duration of the growing season. Good thing I have tons of pails, thanks to my Dad.
