My new resolution (which I just made up now) is to get all the Stout Medal cultivars: to 2000. This is difficult, however, because they get carried away sometimes and give it to dormants.

So I have just ordered what I can get my hands on at the moment (= cheap). These are:

JT Davis
Lavender Blue Baby
Moonlit Masquerade
Ida's Magic
Elizabeth Salter.

I can get Skinwalker easily too but that dormant trait seems a bit set in stone and I cannot spot anyone saying it can act as a semi-evergreen. Any encouragement from the knowledgeable for me to try it? Does anyone get away with SW in southern Florida? I have got away with a few dormants so far - but am I being set up to be punished by the daylily god for my hubris?
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
