You know Quilter Jean, you can trap armadillos. I have a former employer who has used this method quite successfully. You see, armadillos always follow the same route or path -- if you know what that is, you can trap them & then re-locate or whatever Whistling . It might be the best plan for you to leave one of those holes under the fence line open. Pick the one you think is the one it is using most recently. Then you put up 2 rows wire fencing -- it can be low, even chicken wire will do -- what you're going to do is make a channel for it to follow & they will just go along in that "chute" if you will --- head it in the direction the dillo normally heads & then put a Have-A-Heart trap at the end. It will walk straight into it.
