Chris - its not unusual for Seattle (Pacific North West) to get snow even as late as mid March. Rare and usually doesn't stay but it really just depends on weather patterns. If the winds are coming from the north they are arctic and cold, if they are coming from the south they are warm and cozy!!
These winds are mostly coming from the north!
