I have recently found out that the damage from freeze damage can be reduced in grain crops and onions by providing them with extra potassium. Does anyone know if peppers and tomatoes benefit from extra doses of phosphorus or potash to help avoid damage from cold weather. When moving my plants in and out on the warm days and cold days I am wondering if an extra dose of potassium would be helpful?

edited: sorry I had typed in potassium and it should have been phosphorus or potash.
