Your raised rock-border bed sounds beautiful, Becky! I love to grow snapdragons and carnations/pinks with my daylilies ... they stay perennial here and keep a steady bloom of color during the summer and fall, while the daylilies are coming in and out of bloom.

I've got seeds to try a new snapper this summer, maybe to mix in with my red daylilies:
