Thanks for giving the bud count numbers, I was not sure what was considered a high bud count. Looking at the search engine for daylilies I was assuming a bud count of 26-30 would be about average. Looking at the numbers you give that seems to be considered high.
The search engine goes up to 46-and over, does such a high bud count cause any ill effects to the plants, with so many blooms do the plants start to look gaudy or strange, are does the rule, the more blooms the better apply?
