Hi everybody,

At Evey's request, I'm posting a virtual tour of the 2008 Chelsea Flower Show, which I attended in London over a two-day period. The show is produced by the Royal Horticultural Society, and is one of the largest and most well-known shows in the world. Although the name evokes images of simple flower arrangements, there is much, much more. There are entire gardens prepared by designers from all over the world, tens of thousands of specimen plants on display, new hybrids introduced, dozens of vendor booths, lectures, demonstrations, and more. I took hundreds of photos while I was there, and they are presented here in no particular order since it would take me days to organize and categorize them. Due to the vast number of photographs, I will post them in periodic installments, and will not include many narrative discussions or explanations of them -- trusting that you will enjoy viewing them as is. However, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them. I will number the photographs based on their index number in my photo archives for easier reference.

After viewing this thread, feel free to pay a visit to the Nature Photography cubit that I moderate. You'll see lots more botanical portraits there, as well as animals and landscapes.

Enjoy!
