The bare-root roses are okay. They're about the same size as the ones sold by S&W Greenhouse. Not the best, but not the worst either.

These sale roses are own-root roses and they're sold in 1-quart pots. I've only bought one own-root rose from Edmunds' and it was a joke. I bought it because it was called Lady Ashe and Edmunds' said it was a new climbing hybrid tea. Lady Ashe turned out to be nothing more than a new name for Dixieland Linda, which has been around for almost 20 years now. I already had two Dixieland Lindas, so I wasn't that upset when the tiny and frail own-root twig from Edmunds' arrived. It has survived, but it will be years before it catches up with my other two, and it may never catch up with them.
