I bought my first plants in 2011 and they survived the mild winter here with leaves and all, so I thought maybe they are ever"green". The 5th photo from above was taken in mid may 2012 when usually very little new growth has appeared. There are some dead leaves around the plant but the center of the plant is mostly from the year before. There is even a little ice visible on the plant. But this must be an exception
I got a couple of new plants last summer and I hope they will be ok.
