Oh thank you, Calin, for taking the time to show us your still-looking-good water garden. I think it is good idea of the inspection and plans to clean.
I just know that I read somewhere that one can keep goldfish (if you don't think that's too boring of a fish) without need of air pump if there's certain rules that are followed. You may think it too much to do in your busy day schedule, but here's a link:
