Kate, was he salt water or fresh water (usually smaller polky dotted ones) puffer? The one in the aquariums (there's never more than one I notice; why is that?) are usually shy and one has to really stand for a long time scanning the entire waterscape to find that one Puffer...
And I get so excited when I can spot that lone one!!
