We had our biggest snowfall of the year yesterday... biggest drifts I've seen here. Our neighbor has plowed our driveway; I've shovelled the path to the driveway, so we're all set! I've just finished up-dating my peony list, and I can hardly wait for Spring!
I planted 16 new peonies last fall and while I know their bloom will be sparse this first year, I will be watching anxiously for those first shoots to poke through the ground. Of my old ones, p. mlokosewitschii is one of the earlier ones to emerge and to bloom.
